Presenter Bio
Linda Vallejo is a painter, sculptor, and installation artist. A career that spans five decades speaks to socio-cultural, socio-political, and eco-feminist issues. Vallejo is represented by parrasch heijnen, Los Angeles. She is a National Women’s Caucus for the Arts Lifetime Achievement Awardee. Recent selected solo exhibitions include parrasch heijnen gallery, Los Angeles, (2024), the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art, CSU San Bernardino, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, Los Angeles (2019-2020), and Texas A&M University Reynolds Gallery (2016. Selected permanent collections include the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA, MSU Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, Lansing, MI, Eileen Harris-Norton Collection, Santa Monica, CA, and Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
